Theatre Policies

PERFORMANCE POLICIES

Everyone attending a performance must have a valid ticket for performance date. Performances begin promptly at showtime listed on ticket. Late seating is not available at this time.

No outside food or beverage permitted, unless medically necessary.

No weapons permitted on the premises.

Spokane Civic Theatre is the only authorized seller of its tickets and does not work with brokers, resellers or scalped ticket providers. Our low service charges are clearly stated during the purchase process.

EXCHANGES/CREDITS

All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend your ticketed performance date, please contact the Box Office prior to the performance time to exchange your tickets to another date or show within the season. In the event Spokane Civic Theatre cancels a performances, tickets may be exchanged or credit applied to patron account with a calendar year expiration. If you are unable to make another performance date, a credit can be applied to your patron account with a calendar year expiration. No ticket exchanges are available if requested after ticket date.

TICKET TYPES

(Student, Military, Senior, Adult) cannot be changed after order completion; no exchanges/credits.

TAX DONATIONS

Purchased tickets may be donated to Spokane Civic Theatre for a tax credit if surrendered at least 24 hours prior to ticket date. Donated tickets must be managed via the Box Office.

STUDENT RUSH

Instead of a student rush program, Civic offers Student tickets for $15 to any performance

ACCESS INFORMATION

Accessible seating is available in both the Main Stage and Studio Theatre and intended for patrons with accessibility needs only.

The entrance to the Main Stage is on the North side of the Theatre, on Gardner Ave. For those in need of accessibility support, please be dropped off in front of the Theatre and utilize the ramp for entry. Limited accessible seating is located in row J.

The entrance to the Studio Theatre is near the southeast corner of the Theatre, off of Dean St/Joe Albi Wy. For those in need of accessibility support, please be dropped off in front of the Theatre. Limited accessible seating available in all Theatre configurations.

Wheelchair accessible (unisex) restrooms located in both Theatre.

ASL-INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES

ASL-interpreted performances are offered for Main Stage productions. Spokane Civic Theatre hires trained theatrical interpreters for these performances.
Stay tuned for Season 76 dates.

PARKING

Parking in our area, the North Bank, is difficult and access can be nebulous. Please arrive early. On days when multiple North Bank events occur, Public Facilities District Management will hold 100 spots for Civic patrons in the main Arena lot, directly west of Civic. Parking fees are patrons’ responsibility. On days when there are no Arena or Podium events, Arena lots require payment via web or app (please click here to visit ParkMobile online and/or download the app). When possible, please carpool or ride share.

LOBBY ACCESS

Civic’s lobbies are accessible one hour prior to showtimes. Snacks, sweets and beverages are available for purchase. Civic does not accept cash payment via bills larger than $20. In hopes of a successful pre-show experience, please arrive early and make yourself comfortable. Clear bags are not required at this time.

CHILDREN

Children 5 and older are welcome at most performances. Please check Show pages for recommended age limits or ratings.

SERVICE DOGS

Service dogs are defined as any certified dog which helps with performing a function for a person that is limited by a disability; the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires they be admitted in the theater.

ELECTRONICS / CELL PHONES

The use of cameras, recording devices, cell phones, and other electronic devices during a performance is strictly prohibited unless expressly encouraged.

EXITS

To ensure your safety in case of fire or any other emergency, upon arrival, Spokane Civic Theatre requests that you familiarize yourself with the exit route nearest to your seat.
