32nd Playwrights’ Forum Festival
Spokane Civic Theatre is proud to present its celebrated Playwrights’ Forum Festival, which, since 1983, has showcased new one-acts by playwrights from across the region. The festival is performed in two separate sets on alternating days.

2022 Playwrights’ Forum Festival Gathering
Saturday June 18 at 10AM, Studio Theatre
This is a free event for regional playwrights of all ages, whether just beginning their career, seasoned veterans, or anywhere in between. Segments of the program will include: a Playwrights Panel discussing the art and businesses playwriting; a Directors Panel discussing the joy/pain of working with living playwrights; a Producers Panel discussing opportunities for developing new work in Eastern Washington; and a Keynote presentation “From Spokane to NYC” by Dramatist Guild members Bryan Harnetiaux and Trish Harnetiaux on finding your path as a playwright.
