The investment Benefactor Members make goes above a subscription package and underwrites ever-growing class and production expenses. By becoming a Civic Benefactor Member, you are helping create more space for more art, artists, educational opportunities, strategic partnerships, and community investment.
As a nonprofit theatre and arts education organization, Spokane Civic Theatre provides a vital space for learning, creativity and belonging in our growing community. Last season, we presented more than 16 shows and 30 classes. 388 volunteer performers, 195 students and 158 creative contributors participated.
This season, we are dedicated to investing in our innovative collaborators and expanding our education program. Accordingly, 60% of our $1.3 million budget is directed to people—our staff, teaching artists, directors, crew members, and musicians. 25% is allocated to production and education expenses, including costumes, set supplies, materials, and licensing fees. Ever-growing facility, financial and operating costs round out our budget at 15%.
