Attention all would-be Musketeers!

Fight choreographer for The Three Musketeers, Bryan Durbin, would like to invite all actors to a Stage Combat Workshop on February 1st, 2014. This workshop is set up to teach the fundamentals of sword fighting for the upcoming production. As The Three Musketeers is a fight heavy show, all those who audition will need to demonstrate athletic ability to cope with numerous fights and physical activity.

The workshop will consist of two parts. The first two hours of this workshop will involve learning the basics of sword fighting for the stage. The next two hours will involve a more indepth look at the technical/different techniques used, and the "flashy moves that make you look cool on stage."  While the first part of the workshop will be free, the second portion will be at a cost of $10 per person. All proceeds will be going to the Spokane Academy Scholarship Fund.

Please note that you do NOT have to participate in this workshop in order to audition. Participation in this workshop can give you a better chance of getting cast in The Three Musketeers, however this is NOT guaranteed. Space is limited so be sure to sign up soon.

For more information or to sign up for the workshop please contact Director of Education, Chris Taylor, at 509-325-2507 x406 or chris@spokanecivictheatre.com

We look forward to seeing you there!
