Spokane Civic Theatre is pleased to announce its call for one-act scripts for its 26th Playwrights’ Forum Festival. Selected scripts will be fully produced at the festival to be held June 6 & 7, 2014.
*What? One-act plays that run 30 minutes or less (30 page maximum).
*One script only.
*Please don’t send scripts submitted in previous years.
*Eligibility: Playwrights must reside in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana or Alaska.
*We welcome plays that are unpublished, unproduced or produced but have not received a professional production.
*Standard play format is preferred.
*There are no restrictions on content, but please no musicals.
*No name on the script.
*No submission fee.
*Electronic submissions only.
*Deadline: February 14, 2014
*Notification: April
Submission procedure:
1. Send the full script as a Microsoft Word or PDF document with no identifying information. Please include a character breakdown.
2. Fill out and send the Playwrights Forum Festival application form.
3. Email the script and application to submissions@spokanecivictheatre.com
