
*Justin Bees (Paris) is a graduate of Gonzaga University. Originally from Pittsburgh, he currently works at Jewelry Design Center. Recent roles include Berenger in Rhinoceros (Gonzaga University), Joe in Angels in America (Penn State University) and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night (Urban Impact). “Huge shoutout to my friends, family, and everyone from JDC for their love and support.”
*Carrie Bostick (Ensemble, Flower Girl) By day, and occasionally by night, Carrie is a reporter at the Coeur d’Alene Press, primarily covering Post Falls. She moved to Spokane in 2021 from upstate New York. Her recent credits are Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest (Hitchhiker’s Theatre), Duke Senior and Duke Frederick in As You Like It, Horatio in Hamlet and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (all with Spokane Shakespeare Society).
*Abby Burlingame (Lady Capulet) is thrilled to make her Civic Theatre debut. Past roles in the Spokane area include Jen in I Thought I Knew You (Stage Left), Gertrude in Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Spokane Shakespeare Society), and Desdemona in Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet (Spokane Shakespeare Society). In addition to acting, she is a writer, producer, and director. She directed As You Like It last summer and a semi-staged reading of The Winter’s Tale this February. Many thanks to her family, friends, and this delightful cast.
Eupheme Carruthers (Ensemble) studied Drama at Spokane Falls Community College from 2012-2015. Recently she has performed as Player King in Hamlet/Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (Spokane Shakespeare Society), Olivia in Twelfth Night (Spokane Ensemble Theatre), Warren in This Is Our Youth and Hanschen in Spring Awakening (both with Civic). Offstage, Eupheme is a professional playwright and budding game designer, and enjoys tabletop roleplaying.
Abby Constable (Princess Escalia) teaches Drama and English at West Valley High School and spends her summers performing Shakespeare. Her favorite roles are Rosalind in As You Like It (Spokane Shakespeare Society), Mary Debenham in Murder on the Orient Express, Daphne Stillington in Present Laughter (both with Civic) and Penelope in See How They Run (Ignite! Community Theatre).
Nathan Davies (Tybalt) is thrilled to play Tybalt, the fiery “Prince of Cats.” This marks their second main stage production with Spokane Civic Theatre, having previously appeared as one of the Venticelli in Amadeus. Past Shakespeare credits include Henry V (Henry V), Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Proteus (Two Gentlemen of Verona), Don John (Much Ado About Nothing) and Sebastian (Twelfth Night), with performances in Georgia and Prague through Conasauga Shakespeare Coalition and Prague Shakespeare Company. Nathan is grateful to his director, Josh, for the opportunity to be part of one of theater’s most iconic tragedies and has savored the moments he has shared with the cast and crew.
Belinda Geren (Nurse) studied at BYU and SFCC for Acting and Theatre Education and worked as the Theatre Assistant at Ferris High School from 1998-2024. Her favorite onstage roles are Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Spokane Theatrical Group), Anybodys in West Side Story and Rosamund in The Robber’s Bridegroom (both with Civic). “Thank you to my loving and patient husband, my wonderfully supportive sons and daughters, and this amazingly fabulous cast.”
*Jared Martin (Benvolio) earned a BA in Theatre from Eastern Washington University where he was awarded the Dean’s Excellence Award and the Mark Twain Comedy Award from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Recent credits include Horatio in Hamlet (Bright Comet Theatre), Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Sebastian in Twelfth Night (both with Spokane Ensemble Theatre) and director/producer for 7 Minutes in Heaven (Upstart Players). Offstage he works as a graphic designer/illustrator and enjoys drawing, reading, writing, watching and spending as much time with friends and family as possible.
Nathan Miller (Ensemble) earned a BA in Theatre from Eastern Washington University. His recent roles include Nicky in Psycho Beach Party (Civic) and Yakov in The Seagull (EWU).
Nicholas Roy Morgan III (Ensemble) is excited to return to Civic! His favorite roles include Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest (Hitchhiker’s Theatre), Lysander in A Midsummer Nights Dream (Bakersfield Community Theatre), Joe Josephson in Merrily We Roll Along (Civic) and The Baker in Into the Woods (TAC at the Lake).
Katelyn Orchard (Ensemble, Nurse Understudy) is thrilled to make her first main stage performance at Spokane Civic Theatre. Honored to be a part of this talented cast, she has previously been seen in the Playwrights Festival and Shakespeare Beyond Words, both with the Civic. She wants to extend her heartfelt thanks to her family, friends, and Joey for their unwavering love and support, and for tirelessly running lines with her.
Connie Mack Overstreet (Ensemble, Peter) takes vocal lessons with Heather Parker and tap and jazz at Dance Center of Spokane. No stranger to the Civic stage, his favorites roles are Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Aviator in The Little Prince, Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and Silvus in As You Like It. Offstage Connie enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and Pickleball.
Samuel Peters (Lord Capulet) is excited to return to the Civic Main Stage, most recently performing as Colonel Arbuthnot in Murder on the Orient Express. He received theatrical training while at Spokane Falls Community College in addition to multiple stage combat workshops. His favorite roles include Sidney Myers in Daisy (Stage Left), Karl the Giant in Big Fish The Musical (SFCC), Tim Allgood in Noises Off and Florindo Aretusi in The Servant of Two Masters (both at Civic). “I would like to thank my family for always supporting my love of the stage, especially my mother Cheryl DuPree and my lovely wife Haley Garcia-Peters!”
*Max Quintal (Ensemble, Gregory) is excited to make his Civic debut! Recent roles include Malcolm in Macbeth (Shakespeare CDA), John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet (North Idaho College Theatre), Bill Austin in Mamma and Paul in The Outsiders (Ventura High School Theatre). Residing in Coeur d’Alene, Max is part of the new theater Shakespeare CDA and is currently working on their new production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Jeffrey Ridlington (Lord Montague) has trained with the Boise Summer Intensive in Suzuki and Viewpoints, and worked as the Artistic Director of Spokane Shakespeare Society’s 2024 season. Onstage his recent roles include Cook in Amadeus (Civic) and Hamlet’s Father in Hamlet (Spokane Shakespeare Society). Jeffrey also teaches Theatre and English at Lakeside High School in Nine Mile Falls.
Hazel Rogers-Brunt (Ensemble) is excited to return to Civic in Romeo and Juliet! Favorite Civic roles include Merchant in A Comedy of Errors and Dr. Livesly in Treasure Island.
Christopher Rounsville (Mercutio) is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where he honed his craft and developed a deep appreciation for the arts. Following his academic journey, where he performed both on and backstage in numerous productions including several Shakespeare shows, he spent time with the Kingsman Shakespeare Company, further expanding his experience and passion for classical theater. Christopher is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of his friends and family, whose encouragement has been invaluable in every step of the artistic journey.
Clay Sanchez (Ensemble) is excited to be back on the Main Stage after performing as Young Jacob in this season’s A Christmas Carol. Other favorite credits include Jetsam in The Little Mermaid (CYT), Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables and Sir Andrew Auguecheek in Twelfth Night (both with Civic). “I wanna thank my family for always supporting me with theatre, Thank you to the artistic team for giving me this opportunity to be in the show. Most importantly, I wanna thank God for blessing me with the ability to do something I enjoy.”
Laureen Savage (Lady Montague) sends appreciation to the casting committee for Spokane Civic Theatre’s 2025 revival of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. You may recognize Ms. Savage as this season’s Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol, or from previous seasons’ productions of Elf The Musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, or Catch Me if You Can. She is grateful for castmates who make her laugh during long wait times at rehearsals. Constantly proud of her three adult children, she wants everyone to know they are amazing individuals who stand up for what is right even when it is not popular and continue to fight even when it is hard. Ms. Savage would especially like to thank her husband, Shane, for the extra strength shown these last few weird months.
*Joseph Selle (Ensemble, Sampson) is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre at Whitworth University. Recent roles include Mysterious Old Man in Into the Woods, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing (both with Whitworth University), Adam/Phoebe in As You Like It and Laertes in Hamlet (Spokane Shakespeare Society).
Jeffrey St. George (Friar Lawrence) is thrilled to be making his debut on the Civic Main Stage in his very most favorite Shakespeare play. Jeff has spent a lot of time playing at Shakespeare prior to entering his Friar Lawrence era. You may have seen him previously as Hamlet, MacBeth, Ariel, Touchstone or perhaps the Nurse.
Heather Stephens (Juliet) has a BA in Theatre from Eastern Washington University. She has been in CATS as Etcetera (Civic), Cinderella as Marie (SCT), Shrek as Gingy (CYT), Drowning Ophelia as Ophelia (EWU). She thanks God, her friends, family and the Artistic Team for this opportunity!
Mo Stuart (Ensemble) is excited to return to Spokane Civic Theatre for her second production. Previously seen acting in A Comedy of Errors and As You Like It, she’s thrilled to show her love of Shakespeare in Romeo and Juliet. She thanks her family for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!
Micah Sybouts (Ensemble, Mistress of Revels) is happy to return to the Civic Main Stage, recently performing as Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol and Denise/Perkins in The Play That Goes Wrong. Outside of spending time with her family, the theatre is her happy place.
Kafziel Wynshester (Ensemble) is delighted to be returning for his second show at the Civic Theatre and his first one on the main stage. You may recognize him from his involvement with Spokane Entertainers Guild/Renaissance Faire or his work at various other theatres. He has a passion for performance and hopes to continue sharing the art form in his future. He’d like to thank his directors for the opportunity of being a part of this wonderful production.

Joshua Baig (Director) is ecstatic to make his debut as a director on the Main Stage with the classic Romeo and Juliet after directing last season’s A Comedy of Errors for Civic Education. He studied theatre locally at Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University and was last seen onstage as Maurice Wilkins in Photograph 51 at Civic. In Civic’s 2019-2020 season, he had the honor to play the iconic roles of George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life and Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret. Other favorite credits include Paul Roms in Important Hats of the Twentieth Century (Upstart Players), Ensemble in Young Frankenstein (Civic) and Sebastian in The Tempest (EWU Theatre).
William Marlowe (Assistant Director) Emeritus retired from SFCC where he served as Director of Drama for 18 years and was awarded Exceptional Teacher in 2005. He received the Arts in Education award from the City of Spokane in 2006. He also spent eight seasons at Interplayers Theatre directing, acting and designing costumes, properties, and sets. William also worked seven seasons at Coeur d Alene Summer Theatre as an actor and production stage manager, and 33 years at Spokane Civic Theatre as dialect coach, designer, director and actor. Recently at Civic he appeared in A Christmas Carol as Jacob Marley [2024] and Ghost of Christmas Present/Mr. Fezziwig [2022] and The Book of Will as Ben Johnson; he worked as Assistant Director for A Comedy of Errors and Scenic Designer for Xanadu Jr [both Civic Education]. William enjoys time with his wife of 42 years, Sara, his two dogs and playing Dungeons and Dragons when he is not in his garden.
Mackenzie Willett (Stage Manager) is downright giddy to be a part of the team that brought this gorgeous show to life (and she’s quite excited for YOU to see it!). She loves working behind the scenes at Civic as well as working as part of the Front of House Staff. Outside of theatre, Mackenzie spends all her time watching and playing soccer, spending time at church, and reading.
Sara Edlin-Marlowe (Producer) has an MFA in Theatre with emphasis on directing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She spent time studying and working as an actress in NYC where she managed a small part in Godfather I. After moving to Tucson, AZ for a radio news job, she met her husband, William, at callbacks for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Bill and Sara ended up spending five years in Birmingham, Alabama working for the Children’s Theatre. They also worked at the Smoky MT. Passion Play in Tennessee where Sara played Mary Magdalen, and at Tecumseh! an outdoor drama in Ohio where she played Tecumapes, sister to Tecumseh. Moving to Spokane in 1992, Sara continued to work at Civic where she directed Dancing at Lughnasa and Women of Lockerbie and acted at Interplayers. Sara worked at Gonzaga and Spokane Public Radio. In 1999, Sara worked at both SCC and SFCC; Retiring in 2019, she continues to be active in theatre here in Spokane.
Peter Rossing (Scenic Design) first designed and painted for the Civic with CATS last season. He has designed sets for theater, opera, dance, and corporate events in Portland, Austin and traveling productions. Favorite projects included A View from the Bridge for Portland Repertory Theatre, The Importance of Being Earnest for New Rose Theatre (Portland), On the Verge for Different Stages Co. in Austin, and A Comedy of Errors on Austin’s Zilker Park Stage. In recent years, Peter has focused on graphic design, arts marketing, and entrepreneurial projects including founding and operating an art supply store in Portland.
Jamie L. Suter (Costume Design) holds a BA in Theater Design and Technical Production with concentrations in Costume Design and Directing from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, studying under Broadway professionals Gail Brassard, Liz Covey, and Bob Anton. Notable credits include Costume Design for The Wonder!: A Woman Keeps a Secret (T. Schreiber Studio), Assistant to the Costume Designer for Sweeney Todd (Avery Fisher Hall), Assistant Costume Designer for The Lucky Chance (Theresa Lang Theater), Director/Costume Designer for Seven Femmes (Rathskeller Studios), and Costume Designer for The Lost Cabaret (NYC Fringe Festival). Jamie joined the Civic staff in 2018, her first design on stage being Present Laughter in the Studio Theatre. She loves being part of the fun and frivolity of live theater and is incredibly happy to do that at her home away from home, Spokane Civic Theatre.
Bryan D. Durbin (Lighting Design) has a BA in theatre and is very excited to be back as Civic’s master electrician and lighting designer following the long hiatus. “I want to thank my family Heather, Evie, and Abby for all of their support.”
Lorna J. Hamilton (Dance Choreographer) has directed, choreographed, and performed in more than 200 dance or theatrical productions, and playing at the Spokane Civic is one of her favorites. “Thank you, Joshua and William for letting me be a part of this stellar production. Break legs, everyone!”
Dawn-Taylor Reinhardt (Consent Forward Artist) returned to the stage for the first time in 9 years as Renfield in last season’s Dracula. An accomplished talent agent, acting coach, director and stage manager, Dawn is happy to bring the important work of intimacy coordinating to the Spokane theater community.
Jeremy Wissing (Sound Engineer) is excited to be back at the Civic sound board, this time for a musical! Previous Civic sound credits include Amadeus and CATS on the Main Stage and Exile in the Studio Theatre.
Kris and Marty Kittelson (Properties Lead) have been theatrically joined at the hip since meeting at Civic in 1978. They share a love of acting and also frequently work as a team on props and sets. Marty was last on stage in Civic’s 2024 production of A Christmas Carol. Kris was last seen on stage in Civic’s 2022 musical Funny Girl.

Theresa Craigmile (Backstage Crew) returns to Civic as backstage crew after working on Sweat in the Studio Theatre! Her favorite backstage work includes The Play That Goes Wrong, Dracula, Murder on the Orient Express, and The 39 Steps.
Shakyla Garcia Davidson (Backstage Crew) earned her AFA from Spokane Falls Community College. After performing as Mina Harker in last season’s Dracula, she is back behind the curtain. Recently for Civic, she stage managed Sweat, The 39 Steps, Murder on the Orient Express and The Play That Goes Wrong. Outside of theatre, she enjoys D&D, crochet, and her two sighthounds Donatello and Leonardo.
Chloe Smith (Backstage Crew) has been involved with theatre since 2004, being onstage and behind the scenes for 20 years. She’s worked in Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Washington, and been part of Fort Worth Fringe Festival since 2021. She will be stage managing a one-man show of Hamlet for New Mexico AACTFEST State Competition in April 2025. At Civic, her backstage work includes Sweat, Dracula, The 39 Steps and Murder on the Orient Express. Outside of theatre, she has worked for Harley-Davidson for 20 years, currently working for Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson in Spokane Valley, and also enjoys painting, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
