Stella Beale (Ensemble) loves animals of all kinds! Her specialties in school include reading and math. Offstage she loves to ride her bike, play with makeup, Roblox, and jam out to K-Pop Demon Hunters. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jane Chapman (Mrs. Bumbrake) is a seventh grader at Sacajawea Middle School. Favorite roles include Glinda in The Wizard of Oz (Wilson Elementary), Second Star to the Right in Peter Pan (Wilson Elementary), and a Jellyfish in The SpongeBob Musical (CYT). Outside of school, Jane studies tap dance and voice and enjoys swimming, volleyball, and tennis. Hobbies include singing, acting, reading, spending time with friends and family, and all things Harry Potter. She is excited to be in her first show at Civic and looks forward to many more stage opportunities!

Norilee Chapman (Prentiss) is a fifth grader at Wilson Elementary. She loves acting and has taken theater classes at Spokane Civic Theatre, Christian Youth Theater, and Wilson Elementary. Recent roles include the Evil Stepmother in The Play with the Bear in It (Wilson) and Pegasus in Hercules (Missoula Children’s Theater). In her free time, Norilee enjoys reading, science, sharks, music, art, and tap dancing. She plans to be a marine biologist when she grows up and wants to dedicate her career to shark conservation. Norilee is grateful for her supportive friends and family and is so excited to be in this production of Peter and the Starcatcher.

Nathanael Cho (Black Stache) is thrilled to take on this bold and adventurous role, pushing his artistic boundaries as a performer. Previous stage credits include Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol (Civic) and Jerome in South Pacific (Spokane Valley Summer Theater). Offstage, he enjoys playing piano, devouring books, and speed cubing. He sends a big shoutout to his incredible family and friends for their constant support!

Kyrie Cox (Fighting Prawn) has taken multiple classes with San Diego Junior Theatre. Her favorite role has been Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (Wild Thyme). She also enjoys making digital art and designing stickers.

Penelope Donahoe (Ted) was last seen on the Civic stage as Ensemble/Narrator in last season’s A Christmas Carol. Other recent roles include Ensemble/Shopkepper in Step-Sisters, Bronx Newsie in Newsies and Min Gorilla in Tarzan (all with Spokane Children’s Theatre).

Arty Furley (Boy) has previously participated in summer camps with Spokane Civic Theater and Spokane Valley Summer Theater. He has enjoyed being part of Peter and the Starcatcher, his first stage production, and hopes to continue participating in theater.

Clive Green (Lord Astor) recently played Father Christmas’ Elf in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe at TAC. Outside of theatre he enjoys playing flag football and skateboarding. Clive would like to thank his family and the team at Civic for supporting him in this musical!

Paloma Partovi (Alf) has enjoyed numerous classes at Civic Theatre over the past 4 years as well as theater and musical theater trainings through Hesperus Arts and CYT. She has studied piano, dance and voice from a young age. In addition to acting, Paloma enjoys drawing and writing original songs and scripts, bringing stories to life through creative expression.

Alex Schroeter (Mack)  is thrilled to be part of this production! When she’s not on stage, she’s racing down the ski slopes, scoring goals on the soccer field, or exploring trails on her mountain bike. A passionate reader, she’s always got a book in hand. She dreams of becoming a professional soccer player, an actor, or a teacher—and maybe all three! She thanks her family and friends for their love and support.

Ashley Schwartz (Molly Astor) is a 12-year old seventh grader at Chase Middle School and this is her first production with Spokane Civic Theatre! She previously performed at CYT in Finding Nemo Jr. (2023), Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2024) and Tarzan (2025). Ashley would like to thank her family and friends for all of their amazing support and thank everyone involved in the making of this production!

Josie Shelton (Bill Slank) is excited to be part of Peter and the Starcatcher after her role as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz (Yasuhara Middle School)! She has been part of her school’s drama club and taken improv and other theatre education classes. Outside of theater, Josie enjoys drawing, reading, playing guitar, and listening to music.

Piper Zacher (Captain Scott) is excited to be part of her first production! Her hobbies include drawing, writing, pretending and singing.

Jessii Arp (Director) earned a BA in Theatre Arts and Music from Western Washington University and currently works in Spokane Public Schools. Most recently with Civic, Jessii directed the education production of The Little Prince and performed in Merrily We Roll Along. Favorite credits include directing James and the Giant Peach Jr. (Civic Education), Alice in You Can’t Take It With You (Civic), Tansey McGinnis in The Nerd (Lake City Playhouse) and Susan in Company (Mt. Baker Theater). Offstage Jessii enjoys reading books with her cat.

Nathan Hoyt (Music Director) is a Music and Drama Teacher with a BAE in Music Education from EWU. He has over a decade of experience as a Music Director for musicals and is currently the Drama Director at Cheney High School. In addition to his offstage credits, Nathan can be seen on stage in many Civic shows, including Carousel (Mr. Snow), She Loves Me (Sipos), and Jersey Boys (Nick Massi). Nathan is proud to work with Civic Education this year and bring the arts to students all over Spokane.

Gavin Zacher (Stage Manager) is excited to be working backstage at Civic! His experience comes from Cheney High School where he received the Technicians Award 2023-24 & 2024-25 and the Theatre Achievement Scholarship. Favorite credits at Cheney include Mr. Lawrence in Little Women The Musical and Stage Manger for Little Women The Musical, The Spongebob Musical, A Charlie Brown Christmas and 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse. Outside of theatre Gavin enjoys rock climbing, board games and Shakespeare.

Mackenzie Willett (Costumer) loves working behind the scenes at Civic as well as working as part of the Front of House Staff. Outside of theatre, Mackenzie spends all her time watching and playing soccer, spending time at church, and reading.

Bryan D. Durbin (Lighting Design) has a BA in theatre and is very excited to be back as Civic’s master electrician and lighting designer following the long hiatus. “I want to thank my family Heather, Evie, and Abby for all of their support.”

Lily Savage (Light Board Operator) is no stranger to working on and off stage at Civic. Her favorite recent productions include Little Shop of Horrors at Coeur d Alene Summer Theatre (Assistant Stage Manager), The Comedy of Errors (Adriana), National Pastime (Stage Manager) at Spokane Civic Theatre and Wild Dust (Denise) for the Upstart Players. She hopes you have a fantastic time at the show!
