Annie Altevers (Daisy Buchanan) performed at Spokane Civic Theatre in 2019 as Bunny Flingus in The House of Blue Leaves. She performed at Lake City Playhouse in 2019 as Florence Unger in The Odd Couple (Female Version). “Thank you to my wonderful and supportive family and friends!“

Alex Barclay (Tom Buchanan) has been in several productions with Ignite! and Civic. His favorite role was Audrey II – the voice of the plant at Ignite!’s Little Shop of Horrors. He works as a realtor with Exit Real Estate Professionals and enjoys singing with the Spokane Symphony Chorale.

Trevor Caragan (Jay Gatsby) is honored and excited to play Jay Gatsby in this staged reading! Trevor attended Cornish College of the Arts earning a BFA in Theatre and Original Works. He thanks his family, friends, and partner, Addy, for their love and support.

Kylle L. Collins (Chester McKee) is happy to make his Spokane Civic Theatre debut as an actor, having previously created specialty props for past productions. Mr. Collins is a professional international Prop Master of the stage and screen by trade and is a graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Kylle is thankful for the opportunity to collaborate once again with Kim Roberts, who was an early contributing factor in his interest in the arts, having directed him in several productions in his youth.

Maren Forsnes (Jordan Baker) is a full-time biology student with a love for theatre. Former credits include Mr. Mistoffelees in Cats, an Ancestor in The Addams Family, and Urania in Xanadu Jr. (all with Civic). She is excited to be reading with this wonderful cast.

Nicole Hicks-Wedge (Myrtle Wilson) is excited to return to SCT again. Recently, she made audiences laugh as Margaret in POTUS (Civic). Nicole is a Music Together preschool teacher, vocal coach and Burlesque teacher in Spokane. Nicole sends her love to Joe, her boys, her stepdad Rich, and her mom Ruth for their support.

Kent Kimball (Meyer Wolfsheim) is an actor, musician, singer, composer and conductor. He’s performed in 70+ plays and musicals, 40+ TV commercials, and 21 movies. He has done recordings in Spokane, Los Angeles and London (with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studio). He’s also performed at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Kent is the Artistic Director of the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’ Alene. He is married to his lovely wife Norilee and has 4 beautiful daughters and 11 comedic grandkids!

Christopher Lamb (George Wilson) having made his first appearance as an actor on Civic’s Main Stage twenty years ago this year, and having had his first adult community theatre role with Ignite! in 2008, he is honored and delighted to make his return to both theatrical communities simultaneously with this production. Corliss Newman (Mrs. Michaelis) is thrilled to be cast in The Great Gatsby!  She has been acting and singing in the Spokane area since 2004. Dr. Newman is a hematologist/oncologist at MultiCare and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Spokane.

Ted Redman (Narrator) a former USAF Intelligence Officer, has appeared in multiple Civic productions since the 1990s. A native of Palouse, his stage performances began in elementary school, continued in Germany with The American Theatre in Wiesbaden, and resumed with SCT following his retirement. He’s been a Civic Board member since 2013.

Jennifer Simmons (Lucille McKee) has performed locally on stage in Lake Town, Minimum Wage, Hecuba, Masterpiece Monologues, A Place to Call Home, Burnt by the Sun, It’s Not About the Crullers, Fast & Furious, and Playwrights Playground. Her resume includes extras casting, production assistant and extensive credits in film, TV, and commercials.

David Stanley (Policeman) is thrilled to be a part of this production of The Great Gatsby, he previously performed here at Civic in a readers theater and in a stage production of You Can’t Take It With You. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support.

Ryan Wasson (Nick Carraway) has made a home at Spokane Civic Theatre over the past 6 years and is ecstatic for this to be his 20th on-stage production at Civic. Recent Civic credits include Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), Carousel, columbinus (Readers Theater). Ryan also works in the area as an actor, director, and photographer, in addition to working as the Communications Assistant at Civic.
