Alessia Adams (#14) is excited to be back in the studio theatre after performing in Civic’s Native Gardens. Other favorite roles include Sister Mary Hubert in Nunsense, Erma in Anything Goes and Mrs. Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank (all with Central Valley). Currently she is also in a short film titled, “Andrew in the Apocalypse” where she plays as a raider!
Meg Barlow-Jones (#25) is South African and has a BA in psychology and criminal justice. Her favorite credit is King Julien in Madagascar: The Musical (Spokane Falls Community College).
Ash Bingo (#46) enjoys giving speeches about Thomas the Tank Engine in debate and playing trumpet in the band. And really loves soccer.
Delaney Kahler (#13) is a Washington based performing artist, choreographer, arts educator, and writer. She graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle earning her degree in Musical Theatre with an Original Works emphasis. Recent acting credits include Dusty in POTUS and ensemble in Carousel here at Civic, Once: The Musical as the percussionist and Bertha in Pippin at Cornish. Her recent choreography credits include RENT at Lake City Playhouse, Ride The Cyclone at Stage Left, Heathers, Xanadu Jr., and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Civic. Ruby Krajic (#2) is so excited to be involved in this production of The Wolves. She has performed at Civic in CATS as Rumpleteazer and as Wednesday in The Addams Family. Ruby is so greatful to be able to work with this talented cast and crew. She would like to thank all of her teachers, coaches and mentors for helping her achieve her goals and accomplish her dreams of performing.
Mary Ormsby (#7) is excited to be back in Civic’s Studio Theatre after playing Ilona Ritter in She Loves Me last season. Other favorite roles include player in Pippin (Stage Left Theater), Fred’s Daughter/Street Urchin in Scrooge (Civic) and Baby Duckling in Honk! (Spokane Children’s Theatre). “Thank you to my family for your continued support, I could not do this without you! I love you mom, dad, and Katie!”
Katelyn Rush (#11) When not onstage Katelyn is a licensed massage therapist, lending specialist at a bank and mom to a crazy 5 year old girl. Her recent roles include Mary Hatch in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Ernest (both with Hitchhikers Theatre), Saftey in Broken (Civic’s 34th Playwrights Forum Festival) and ensemble in She Loves Me (Civic).
Jillian Selley (#8) received a BFA in musical theatre from the University of the Arts. Recently she performed as Smee in Peter and Wendy (Missoula Children’s Theater), Leann in Things Left Unwritten, Miss Millenium/U.S. Fipp in Urinetown (both with University of the Arts) and Ensemble in Escape to Margaritaville (Spokane Valley Summer Theatre). “I would like to thank my mentors, friends, and mother for their endless support!”
Katie Smithgall (#00) is excited to dive into the world of acting and theatre and be in her first play. Katie is a small business owner and licensed massage therapist at Zen Blossom Massage and Reiki LLC in Spokane Valley. Some of her hobbies include rock climbing, snuggles with my dachshund, traveling, and singing.
Ladonna Wojtowicz (Soccer Mom) studied acting in college and with Spokane Civic Theatre Academy. Her favorite roles are her various appearances in Civic’s Playwrights’ Forum Festival, Alexa Vere de Vere in As Bees Honey Down (Ignite! Community Theater) and Lady Croom in Arcadia (Stage Left Theater).
Dawn-Taylor Reinhardt (Director) studied theater at the Northern College of Speech and Drama and recently became a certified Consent forward Artist facilitator, bringing the important work of intimacy coordinating to the Spokane theater community. She returned to the stage for the first time in 9 years as Renfield in last season’s Dracula at Civic. Her favorite directorial credits are Native Gardens, Red, Spaceman and The Memory of Water.
Adam Snow (Stage Manager, Light Board Operator) is a detail-driven person with experience in various aspects of theater design. Favorite and recent credits with Civic include stage manager for CATS, A Sherlock Carol and Alice by Heart, and backstage crew for A Christmas Carol and The Addams Family. When not working in design, Adam can be writing, creating art, petting their cats, and adventuring with their partner. “I’m excited and honored to collaborate at Civic once again!”
Janice Abramson (Producer) has been involved with the Spokane Civic Theatre family since the summer of 1975. Since then she has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at Civic and the Individual Arts Contribution Award from the Spokane Arts Commission. Janice also works full-time for Spokane Public Schools and part-time for Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club.
Peter Rossing (Scenic Design) first designed and painted for the Civic with CATS last season. He has designed sets for theater, opera, dance, and corporate events in Portland, Austin and traveling productions. Favorite projects included A View from the Bridge for Portland Repertory Theatre, The Importance of Being Earnest for New Rose Theatre (Portland), On the Verge for Different Stages Co. in Austin, and A Comedy of Errors on Austin’s Zilker Park Stage. In recent years, Peter has focused on graphic design, arts marketing, and entrepreneurial projects including founding and operating an art supply store in Portland.
Jamie L. Suter (Costume Design) holds a BA in Theater Design and Technical Production with concentrations in Costume Design and Directing from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, studying under Broadway professionals Gail Brassard, Liz Covey, and Bob Anton. Notable credits include Costume Design for The Wonder!: A Woman Keeps a Secret (T. Schreiber Studio), Assistant to the Costume Designer for Sweeney Todd (Avery Fisher Hall), Assistant Costume Designer for The Lucky Chance (Theresa Lang Theater), Director/Costume Designer for Seven Femmes (Rathskeller Studios), and Costume Designer for The Lost Cabaret (NYC Fringe Festival). Jamie joined the Civic staff in 2018, her first design on stage being Present Laughter in the Studio Theatre. She loves being part of the fun and frivolity of live theater and is incredibly happy to do that at her home away from home, Spokane Civic Theatre.
Bryan D. Durbin (Lighting Design, Master Electrician) has a BA in theatre and is very excited to be back as Civic’s master electrician and lighting designer following the long hiatus. “I want to thank my family Heather, Evie, and Abby for all of their support.”
Jennifer Lantz (Sound Design) is excited to be collaborating with Civic again, previous sound designs include Fiction and Jekyll and Hyde. When not doing sound design she enjoys distance running with a goal to run a half marathon in every state.
Lily Johnson (Sound Board Operator) is excited to be working with Civic again. Recently they worked crew on Carousel, played The Business Man in The Little Prince, Captain Smollett in Treasure Island and Lendall/Marci in Almost, Maine.
MJ Kim (Backstage Crew) is back with Civic after worked backstage crew for CATS and light board operator for Xanadu Jr, A Christmas Carol and The Little Prince.
