Daniel Barton (Oscar), originally from LA, is making his Civic debut in Sweat! He received an AA in theatre from Mt. San Antonio College and is currently pursuing a BA in theatre from Eastern Washington University. Recently he worked as backstage crew for Waiting for Lefty (EWU Theatre), The Diviners and Second Story Man (Mt. San Antonio College). Daniel also works as a stage hand across Spokane and enjoys writing.

John Preston Crocker III (Chris) returns to the Civic stage after performing as Caterpillar 1 in Alice by Heart and Ancestor in The Addams Family. Other favorite roles include March Hare in Alice and Sir John Middletown in Sense and Sensibility, both with Corban University where he graduated from in 2019. John serves at Connection Point Church, a writer for Alonili Coucil, and aspiring voice actor.

Shaune Gardner (Brucie) is an actor whose recent credits include Minimum Wage at Stage Left and Angels in America for Civic’s readers theater series. Known for his dedication to authentic storytelling, he brings depth and nuance to every role

Thomas Heppler (Stan) most recently at Civic directed the readers theatre production of Angles in America, portrayed Tom in The History of Pickle Ball in the 2024 Playwrights Forum Festival and was Grandpa Joe in the new musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A national, regional, state and local award-winning actor, he has appears in over 65 plays and musicals throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is so thankful to be working with such a great cast, director, backstage crew, technical crew and theatre staff. “Thank you for supporting the arts and welcome to the theatre!”

Caryn Hoaglund (Tracey) earned her AA with a Theatre emphasis from Spokane Falls Community College. Favorite roles include the title role in Hecuba (Stage Left), Vivie in Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest (both with Actors Repertory Theatre) and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (Spokane Falls Revelers). For her work throughout the inland northwest, Caryn has received multiple nominations and awards for best lead and supporting actress.

Morgan Lee (Jessie) is excited to make her Civic Theatre debut! Her favorite past role is Junon in Orphée aux Enfers at University of Arizona Opera Theater.

Tim Linton (Jason) is grateful to return to the Civic stage. His favorite credits include Murderer 1 in Macbeth (Shakespeare CDA), Father Christmas in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Kettle Falls High School Drama), Fred in both A Christmas Carol [2022] and The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge (both with Civic). “I was trained by a celibate prostitute in musical theater. A sentient bookcase showed me acting theory. I have been blessed with a myriad of strange and phenomenal teachers. Posthumously received the 2120 Hugo award. Been referred to as passing by most unofficial critics, and in the words of the average houseplant, ‘smash.'”

Brian K. Little (Evan) is excited to return to Civic after performing in National Pastime and the Playwrights Forum Festival. Other credits include movie and television work for Z-Nation, Home Sweet Home and more. Brian enjoys spending time with family, running the family-owned small business, traveling, reading and playing video games.

Susan Hardie (Director) hails from New York, where she received her BA in Theatre and English at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Recent directorial credits include I Thought I Knew You, How I Learned to Drive (both with Stage Left), Photograph 51 and The Book of Will (both with Civic). Susan has directed and appeared in scores of productions throughout the Spokane region for the past forty years. “Love and gratitude to my dearest Peter Hardie, who is always there for me.”

Shakyla Garcia Davidson (Stage Manager, Sound Board Operator) earned her AFA from Spokane Falls Community College. After performing as Mina Harker in last season’s Dracula, she is back behind the curtain. Recently for Civic, she stage managed The 39 Steps, Murder on the Orient Express and The Play That Goes Wrong. Outside of theatre, she enjoys D&D, crochet, and her two sighthounds Donatello and Leonardo.

Janice Abramson (Producer) has been involved with the Spokane Civic Theatre family since the summer of 1975. Since then she has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at Civic and the Individual Arts Contribution Award from the Spokane Arts Commission. Janice also works full-time for Spokane Public Schools and part-time for Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club.

Jeremy Whittington (Scenic Design) is an accomplished artist, notably working as the Artistic Director at Stage Left Spokane (2020-2024) and as a Professor of Drama and Theater Design at Spokane Falls Community College. Jeremy received a BFA in Design (Summa Cum Laude, 2014) from Sanford Brown and an AFA in Theatre Productions (1992) from Ohio University).Recent achievements include Top 20 Emerging Leaders in the Inland Northwest, Trending Northwest (2023), Washington State Kaleidoscope Competition: Best Scenic Design, Best Sound Design, Best Production for Pass Over (2023), and the Governor’s Arts & Heritage Luminary Award (2022). Recent scenic design credits include Macbeth, Sweeney Todd (both with Stage Left),  Dracula and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (both with Civic). He lives with his amazing husband, Alex, and their not-so-amazing cat, Mildred.

Jamie L. Suter (Costume Design) holds a BA in Theater Design and Technical Production with concentrations in Costume Design and Directing from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, studying under Broadway professionals Gail Brassard, Liz Covey, and Bob Anton. Notable credits include Costume Design for The Wonder!: A Woman Keeps a Secret (T. Schreiber Studio), Assistant to the Costume Designer for Sweeney Todd (Avery Fisher Hall), Assistant Costume Designer for The Lucky Chance (Theresa Lang Theater), Director/Costume Designer for Seven Femmes (Rathskeller Studios), and Costume Designer for The Lost Cabaret (NYC Fringe Festival). Jamie joined the Civic staff in 2018, her first design on stage being Present Laughter in the Studio Theatre. She loves being part of the fun and frivolity of live theater and is incredibly happy to do that at her home away from home, Spokane Civic Theatre.

Kimberly Roberts (Lighting Design) served as the resident lighting designer for Ignite! Community Theatre for years. Her Civic lighting design credits include Enemy of the People, Every Christmas Story Ever Told, Amadeus, Jersey Boys and Photograph 51. She also directed A View from the Bridge for Civic’s readers’ theater series last spring and, in February 2025, will be directing the collaborative Civic/Ignite! readers’ theater presentation of The Great Gatsby.

Dawn-Taylor Reinhardt (Consent Forward Artist) returned to the stage for the first time in 9 years as Renfield in last season’s Dracula. An accomplished talent agent, acting coach, director and stage manager, Dawn is happy to bring the important work of intimacy coordinating to the Spokane theater community.

Bryan D. Durbin (Lighting Programmer, Master Electrician) has a BA in theatre and is very excited to be back as Civic’s master electrician and lighting designer following the long hiatus. “I want to thank my family Heather, Evie, and Abby for all of their support.”

Justin Craigmile (Light Board Operator) is excited to return to the Civic backstage! Recent work at Civic includes crew for Dracula, Murder on the Orient Express, The 39 Steps and The Play That Goes Wrong.

Theresa Craigmile (Backstage Crew) returns to Civic as backstage crew! Her favorite backstage work includes The Play That Goes Wrong, Dracula, Murder on the Orient Express, and The 39 Steps.

Chloe Smith (Props, Backstage Crew, Makeup) has been involved with theatre since 2004, being onstage and behind the scenes for 20 years. She’s worked in Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Washington, and been part of Fort Worth Fringe Festival since 2021. She will be stage managing a one-man show of Hamlet for New Mexico AACTFEST State Competition in April 2025. At Civic, her backstage work includes Dracula, The 39 Steps and Murder on the Orient Express. Outside of theatre, she has worked for Harley-Davidson for 20 years, currently working for Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson in Spokane Valley, and also enjoys painting, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
