In conjunction with Spokane Civic Theatre’s 27th Playwrights’ Forum Festival, a two hour Plawrights’ Workshop is being added on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Firth J. Chew Studio Theatre at 1020 N Howard Street in Spokane.
The workshop is free for all adults (18 and over) who are aspiring or practicing playwrights. The afternoon will feature presentations, panel discussions, and conversations about both the art and business of playwriting.
Panelists for the workshop include:
- Civic Artistic Director Keith Dixon
- Director Susan Hardie
- Civic Playwright-in-Residence Bryan Harnetiaux
- Stage Left Playwright-in-Residence Sandy Hosking
- Playwright-in-Residence Modern Theatre's Matt Harget
Special guests will also include playwrights featured in this year's festival.
Following the workshop, participants will be invited to a reception where they will be able to network with panelists and fellow playwrights.
