Ticketing Policies

Purchasing

Tickets may be purchased from Spokane Civic Theatre Box Office personnel by visiting, 1020 N Howard St, Spokane WA 99201, or by calling, 509-325-2507, Tuesday – Friday, 2PM – 6PM.

Online tickets are available at SpokaneCivicTheatre.com and at all TicketsWest outlets.

Please note, Spokane Civic Theatre’s exclusive ticketing partner is TicketsWest. Our website and www.TicketsWest.com are the only internet sites licensed to sell tickets to performances at Spokane Civic Theatre. No other sites have been authorized by Spokane Civic Theatre management to sell, resell or auction tickets.

Pricing

Tickets are priced by age category on the Main Stage:

  • Students are 5 – 25 years of age
    • Children under the age of 5 are not admitted to performances.
    • The only exception are Academy Productions which children aged 2 and up are allowed with a purchased ticket and accompanied by an adult with a purchased ticket.
    • No babes in arms are permitted to any production.
  • Seniors are 65 years and older
  • all others are considered Adults, though those with valid Military ID do receive a price reduction.

Tickets have one All Ages price in the Studio Theatre.

All tickets sales are final.
No refunds will be issued for unused tickets for any reason.

As of January 14, 2019 there will be a $5 Box Office Fee for ticket orders in person and over the phone.

Group Tickets

Group ticket pricing is available for Spokane Civic Theatre’s regular season shows on both the Main Stage and Studio Theatre. There are no group discounts for special events or shows presented by Spokane Civic Theatre Academy.

Discounts for Main Stage Shows are as follows:

  • 10-20 people 10% discount
  • 21-50 people 15% discount
  • 51-100 people 20% discount
  • 101+ people 25% discount

Discounts for Studio Theatre Shows are as follows:

  • 10-50 people 10% discount
  • 51+ people 15% discount

Seats will not be held without payment. In order to get the discount, the indicated minimum number of seats in the category must be purchased in one transaction and paid for in one payment. Additional tickets may be added after that at the discounted rate. Even if added tickets bring the entire group to what would have been the next price level, additional discounts will not be given.

It is suggested that you pay and reserve your seats as early as possible to get the best seating. This can be done in person at the Spokane Civic Theatre Box Office, or with a credit card by phone during weekday box office hours.

Will Call

All phone and mail order tickets will be held at will call, unless a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided.

Those purchasing tickets online will have their tickets printed the day of the performance and held at will call, unless a request was made to have them mailed at the time of purchase (incurs additional charge; available online only). Patrons are asked to bring receipts from online purchases showing the account number, in the event of ticketing issues.

Tickets can be mailed for a $3 fee.

Exchanges

If unable to attend the show for which tickets were purchased, an exchange may be requested from the Box Office.

Exchanges can only be made if the tickets are brought to the Box Office by the patron or are still being held by the Box Office at Will Call.

All exchanges must be made 24 hours prior to the date printed on the tickets for a future performance of the same production.

Sold out Dates

In case of a sold out show, a waiting list will be started one hour prior to curtain for that show only.

Released tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to those on the waiting list. Patrons on the waiting list must be present, in the foyer, when seats become available, or the purchase option passes to the next person on the list.

Coupons-due, complementary, or vouchers-due tickets not picked up by 10 minutes to curtain time may be released for sale.

Cancellation

If a performance is cancelled, tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production, or may be donated for a tax credit (see next item on this page).

There will be no refunds.

Tax Donations

Unused tickets may be donated to the theatre for a tax credit, if released at least 24 hours prior to the ticketed date. These donated tickets must be returned to the Box Office before a tax letter will be issued.

Donated tickets may not be exchanged.

Content

Spokane Civic Theatre will attempt to provide adequate advisement regarding content; however, we will not refund tickets based on dislike of content or audience interpretation.
