Kimberly Roberts (Director) has been active at both Spokane Civic Theatre and Ignite! Community Theatre for decades as a director, designer and actress. She has served on the boards of both organizations and was thrilled to be able to direct the first collaboration between them this past February, The Great Gatsby. Pre-Covid, she served as Ignite!’s resident lighting designer. Her recent lighting design credits at Civic include Sweat, An Enemy of the People, and Amadeus. Her upcoming lighting design projects include Julius Caesar at Stage Left and All is Calm in Civic’s Studio Theatre.

Nan Zorn (Stage Manager) is very excited to be working on another Ignite! production at Spokane Civic Theatre. With a great love for all things ‘Potter’, the chance to help out with this production has been very fun! Hopefully, everyone will enjoy this show as much as she does. Nan is also currently a member of the Ignite! Board of Directors.

Janice Abramson (Producer) has been involved with the Spokane Civic Theatre family since the summer of 1975. Since then she has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at Civic and the Individual Arts Contribution Award from the Spokane Arts Commission. Janice also works full-time for Spokane Public Schools and part-time for Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club.

Lily Savage (Light Board Operator) is no stranger to working on and off stage at Civic. Her favorite recent productions include Little Shop of Horrors at Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre (Assistant Stage Manager), The Comedy of Errors (Adriana), National Pastime (Stage Manager) at Spokane Civic Theatre and Wild Dust (Denise) for the Upstart Players. She hopes you have a fantastic time at the show!

Matthew Pope (Sound Engineer) is happy to return to Civic, previously backstage as Stage Manager for The Beauty Queen of Leenane and onstage as Jordan in Significant Other. Other favorite onstage credits include Witch 2 in Macbeth (Stage Left) and Player Queen in Hamlet (Spokane Shakespeare Society). Matthew hold as BA in theatre from Eastern Washington University and currently works with Vitalant, the blood bank, as a blood drive planner!

Jeremy Wissing (Sound Design) is excited to be back at Civic! Recent sound credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, Jr. (Lewis and Clark High School), WaitressRomeo & Juliet, An Enemy of the People and CATS (all with Civic).

It takes a community to Ignite a theatre!

Since 2004, Ignite! Community Theatre has produced 62 Footlight fully-staged productions and 40 Booklight readers theatre productions. In multiple venues, over 16 theatrical seasons, Ignite! has touched the lives of over 500 volunteers working as directors, cast and crew, while kindling a love for theatre back stage, on stage and among Ignite!’s loyal audience.
