Ticket Policies

NO REFUNDS, LIMITED EXCHANGES.

Ticket Purchase:  Tickets may be purchased during regularly scheduled box office hours in person at our Box Office at 1020 N Howard or by phone at 509-325-2507.  Tickets may also be purchased through TicketsWest: online at www.ticketswest.com, by phone at 1-800-325-7328, or at one of their ticket offices.   All tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase.  Our goal is to honor seating requests, but we cannot guarantee exact seat placement.  Tickets are issued on a first-come first-served basis.  We will place you as close to your request as possible.

All phone and mail order tickets will be held at will call, unless a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided.  Online tickets will be printed the day of the performance and held at will call.  Please bring the online receipt showing your account number in case of ticketing issues.

Tickets are priced by age category and type of show.  Students are 5 – 25 (ID required for students over 18) years of age, Seniors are 65 years and older, and Military Discount (ID required).  All others are Adult price.  Children under the age of 5 are not admitted to performances.

All sales are final and no refunds will be issued for unused tickets or for season subscriptions.

Non-Subscriber Exchanges:  If you are unable to attend the show you purchased for, you may request an exchange from the Spokane Civic Theatre box office in person or by phone.   All exchange requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the date & time printed on the tickets for another performance of the same production.  There is a $3 fee for each exchange transaction.  Exchanged tickets will be held at will call until the original tickets are received.  Please let us know if original tickets are already held in will call.

Tax Donations:  Upon request, unused tickets may be donated to the Theatre for a tax credit if released 24 hours prior to the date and time on the tickets.  Donated tickets may not be exchanged.  Original tickets must be returned to the Box Office before a tax letter will be issued.

Sold-out shows:  In case of a sold out show, a waiting list will be established.  Donor Members, then Season Subscribers will have priority on the waiting list and may request to be added at any time.   Single ticket purchasers must wait until one hour before the show to ask to be placed on that show’s waiting list. Those on the waiting list must be present in the vestibule when tickets become available.  Released tickets will be sold to those on the waiting list, beginning at the top of the list.

Coupon due and Complimentary Tickets not picked up by 10 minutes prior to curtain time may be released for sale.

Cancellation:  In the rare event that a performance is cancelled, tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production or donated for a tax credit.

Content:  The very nature of theatre means that every production cannot promise to suit every taste.  If you are unsure about a production’s content, a box officer can provide you with a synopsis and rating.  Feel free to do further research online, at the library or by phone.  Spokane Civic Theatre will attempt to provide adequate warning regarding adult content, however, the ticket price will not be refunded based on dislike of content or audience interpretation.

Members & Subscribers:  Donor Members and Season Subscribers can now choose to get actual tickets, rather than coupons, for all or some of the season’s shows when they purchase their Membership or Subscription.    This guarantees their seat.

Coupon Due Tickets not picked up by 10 minutes prior to curtain time may be released for sale.

Choosing season coupons, rather than actual tickets, does not guarantee a seat at any given show or run of a show.  The coupons must be redeemed for a ticket for a specific seat at a specific show.  Season Subscriptions are sold at a significant discount, and members and subscribers are allowed to redeem their coupons before tickets go on sale to the general public.  This may be done in person or by phone at the box office during regular business hours, or by mail.  It is recommended that coupons for any given show be redeemed as early as possible.  The appropriate coupon must be surrendered in order to receive the ticket.  The coupon should be checked carefully to be sure that it is the correct one.  Coupons for main stage shows and studio shows are not interchangeable.

Once tickets are made available to the general public, shows and entire runs of shows are subject to being sold out.  In the event of a sell-out, members and subscribers will be given priority placement on the waiting list of their first choice of any remaining show in the run.  Placement on the waiting list does not guarantee a seat for the show, just first option to use the coupon(s) toward any seats that become available.

Any unredeemed coupons may be used for a show of equal or lesser value during the season.  Christmas coupons have the highest value, followed by musical coupons, then play coupons. Toward the end of the season, Spokane Civic Theatre may, at its discretion, allow Season Subscribers to redeem two lesser-value coupons or one lesser-value coupon, plus an additional amount, for a higher-value show in order to use their coupons before they expire.  Coupons expire at the end of the season, and are not valid for special, non-season shows.

Member & Subscribe Exchanges: Exchanges must be requested at least 24 hours before the date and time on the original ticket.  Donor Members have unlimited free exchanges. Season Subscribers are allowed one free exchange per show in the season, any addition exchanges are subject to the standard $3 fee per transaction.

PLEASE NOTE:  Absolutely no refunds.  Season schedule and artists are subject to change.
