BUILDING CHARACTER

Fall 2019 Courses begin on September 16th  and end on November 7th . All courses subject to change.

MASHUP MONDAY: Let’s mix things up!  Fun and engaging new twists on a combination of classic tales.

LITERARY TUESDAY : There’s nothing like the power of a good book to expand our imaginations and understanding of the world!

WACKY CHARACTER WEDNESDAY: Sometimes the fun isn’t in having character, but BEING a character!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: A return to popular retired scripts, and a fresh exploration of stories with historical or cultural significance.

What does it mean to be real?  The beloved tale of a child’s toy that learns what it means to love and be loved, and the enduring power of friendship.

Horton Hears A Who (Ages 6-13) Wednesdays 3:45pm - 4:45pm $100 Register

Based on the beloved Dr. Seuss classic, the worlds of the Jungle of Nool and Whoville are turned upside down in this delightful tale of equality and friendship.

Ramona and Beezus Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm $100 Register

Ramona is curious, precocious, and has a natural flair for mischievous predicaments.  Beezus is orderly, responsible, and reserved.  Can these sisters be so opposite and still work together?

Matilda Wormwood is an exceptional child…surrounded by extraordinarily colorful characters! With just a touch of magic, she and her classmates revolt against the treacherous Trunchbull!

Night at the Museum: Halloween makes History Thursdays 3:45pm - 4:45pm $100 Register

What happens when a new Alexander Hamilton exhibit opens the same night as a surprise Halloween party? A celebration of epic proportion!

War of the Worlds: A Radio Play (Advanced Dramatics) Thurdays 4:00pm - 6:00pm $150 Register

A radio play so convincing, mass hysteria resulted from listeners thinking the classic alien invasion tale of HG Wells was far from fiction! This advanced drama course explores the challenges of voice acting.

Registration closes one week prior to start date (Sept 9-13, 2019)

Refunds:

  • A full refund is issued if a class is canceled or a student withdrawals two weeks before class start date
  • Within two weeks of start date, if a student cannot make class as planned, credit may be transferred to a future class
  • No refunds or transfers after class begins
